Beverage Trolley

The owners of Beverage Trolley needed a web presence for their modular drinks trolley system and needed it within a very tight deadline. We undertook this work knowing we only had three weeks to deliver a fully completed solution. What made this project a little different from most is that the customer supplied a full design which has been put together by a professional designer.

Our remit was to take the design, which was predominantly a single page, and turn it into a fully functional website. With the exception of a few design tweaks during the build the site was delivered exactly as required. We were able to introduce some nice features including sliders and tabbed views to facilitate user interaction.

Fit Fresh

We all like a take out right? Well Fit Fresh were Darlington’s first healthy takeaway. Providing take out food during the day and meal prep for delivery these guys have got you covered. With 38 meal prep options including Keto and Veggie there is something for everyone.

Katie was looking to get the shop online and in particular use the site to sell meal prep to people in the Darlington area and beyond. We built the site with the shops menu along with basic information. We also added an e-shop so that the guys could sell their meal prep products without having to rely on Facebook messaging. The shop uses a WorldPay payment gateway to take payments and allows the Fit Fresh team to login to view and update orders. The site also has a live link to Facebook to display Fit Fresh’s 5 star reviews.

We continue to update the site as and when the menu changes. We also provide email services as part of the package supplied.

Hackers Barbers Darlington

This is the second site we have created for Hackers. The first, created 10 years ago, simply couldn't 'cut it' anymore. Sorry for the pun, couldn't resist. Marie wanted something classy yet straight forward that reflected the shop.

The site content and basic layout were migrated from the original site but the styling and imagery were all brought up to date. As you'd expect the site is fully responsive and views well on all devices. The nw site also provided an opportunity to showcase Hackers great Google reviews.

Hobson & Holmes

We were approached by Nick the Creative Director of Hobson & Holmes with a view to replacing their website. They had just celebrated their 10th year in business and following a full salon refit, felt it was time that their web presence reflected the salon.

We worked closely with the team to ensure that imagery and styling really matched the ethos of the slaon. As a creative business themselves, Hobson & Holmes had many great ideas to contribute to the design. This was a great project to work on with Nick and his team really making the build fun.

K9 House of Style

Shane came to us when he started his mobile canine grooming service, K9 House of Style. Given the creative nature of the Shane's work we really had to ensure that we delivered something that worked for him and his business. The website delivered was a mix of single page with eShop provision. An eShop which had a Facebook option so that Shane could sell through social media too.

Since going live Shane has opened a grooming salon in Cockerton, Darlington which required us to add new contact information and a general overhaul of the content. We continue to support K9 House of Style with their online presence.

Lifecell Stay Alive

David from Lifecell approached us to build a website as quickly as possible to support a printed media advertising campaign that he was planning. The site had to include an integrated shop to allow customers to buy Lifecell's waterproof sleeping bag covers.

We have worked with David before on his Organics business website so he allowed us full control of this project. The site was completed in around a week which included the integrated shop. The shop has online payments and supports Apple Pay.

My French Apartment

We were asked to come up with a presence for a private holiday home in Nice, France. The apartment was being used by the owner for holidays but also being let out for holiday lettings. The apartment was recently purchased and the new owner desired a complete refresh.

Jonathan, the owner, provided most of the content and imagery but as in all cases we do our homework to ensure that not only do we understand the subject matter, but can enhance the overall delivery. The site contains all the information about the apartment including several galleries.

We continue to manage the site for Jonathan which includes annual tariff changes and security updates when required. The latter is a standard service we offer to all clients on our hosting platform.

RAM Risk Solutions

Richard and Ali of RAM Risk Solutions first approached us when they were starting there Health and Safety consultancy company. Having worked with Richard before, when we were asked to design a web site for his beautiful apartment in Nice, he knew who to turn to for his start-up. This time it was a complete refresh for the site.

The guys were looking for a professional web presence that reflected their business and the professional services they offer. As part of the package, we created branding including their logo and some printed media. Since the completion of the site we have continued to a enjoy a very close relationship with RAM and continue to provide consultancy.

Scibertec

We have a long standing relationship with Scibertec dating back to 2011 when we created their previous website. Adrian, the company owner, was looking to refresh their site, make it responsive and enable SSL.

In keeping with the clients requirements we gave the site a fresh new look, made it full responsive and ensured there was an SSL certificate included. The site had ti be kept in keeping with the ideals of a scientific software company. Adrian took the opportunity to refresh the content and bring it up to date.

Spanlite UK

Spanlite UK are the leading supplier of cold rolled steel framed buildings and are based just outside Barnard Castle. They provide a turnkey solution for light weight steel framed buildings.

We were initially approached when they were planning a corporate rebrand. Having already engaged a designer we were asked to build the website and the make the designers layout a reality. Due to issues with the incumbent supplier we transferred the old site to our servers at the beginning of the project to ensure continuity of service fo them.

Dillon, Simon, Laura and the rest of the team were great to work with throughout. Collectively we tweaked the original design and made sure it worked well on mobile devices. The site included dynamic blog and projects areas that Spanlite could update themselves. The site is hosted and managed by us.

Tea With Alice

First things first, Tea With Alice is our favourite foodie hang out. Located a 10 minute walk from our Darlington HQ, it's a great place to go both during the day or for an evening out. With a fantastic menu, amazing staff and brilliant styling, Tea With Alice really is a real gem on West Park.

We were approached by Mark and Mary after they were let down by their original web provider. They asked us if we could come up with a design proof for them to look at and the rest is history. This was another great project to work on as both the owners and cafe are great. Given how much time we've spent in there it was easy for our designers to come up with something that really reflected what the Tea With Alice is all about.

That Bee Bloke

That Bee Bloke, or Simon to us, is a hobbiest bee keeper from North Yorkshire who has set out to marry to traditional methods of bee keeping with modern eco friendly practices. Along with his gorgeous dog “Churchie”, they are helping promote conservation the plight of bees.

Having collaborated with Simon on another project he knew that where to come when he was ready to take his hobby on to the web. Having only started in 2019 Simon was looking primarily for a blog space where he could share his concepts with fellow bee keepers. The blog itself is directly editable by Simon and the site has been written to support a future shop where Simon can sell honey and hives.

The Works Building

The Works Building Company specialise in extensions, brickwork and joinery. The owner, Kai, originally approached in 2008 to design a simple website for his business. The current site is the second one we have done. Both technology and design move so quickly and websites will become dated eventually. Kai understands this and likes to keep his website and social media presence fresh and up to date.

The website is heavily image orientated to reflect the impressive work that Kai and his team do. This includes the Instagram gallery provision which allows Kai to update his own gallery items via his mobile phone. Given the high end look that The Works achieve, it was so important that we match that with our site. Take a look for yourself. I think we've done that!

Under Pressure Cleaning Services

You name it, Under Pressure Cleaning Services will clean it. Inside and out. They do it all. From carpets to sofas, driveways to wheelie bins, there is no job too dirty. Mike, who owns the company, really does make sure if it’s dirty, it won’t be for long. Using state of the art equipment and products these guys will have your house or business looking like new.

Mike approached us looking for a presence on the web to extend his Facebook business profile. He wanted a gallery to showcase his excellent results as well as an area for people to read his 5 star reviews. Mike didn’t have a lot of written content we could use but he did have some great before and after images. We wrote the copy for the site to fit in within our design. We also provided mailboxes to Mike and his team.

During the site build Mike launched a new gardening service so we had to rework our design to support both the cleaning and gardening aspects of the business. This allowed for a great blue with green design.

Walker Organics

Having with worked with David, the owner of Walker Organics, on a series of other web projects in the past he knew who he could trust to refresh the web presence of his Vermiculture business. Established in 1986 Walker Organics have been supplying quality Vermicultural products and services to the UK marketfor over 30 years.

David's existing site was significantly outdated and certainly was not in keeping with the business he was bidding for. The brief was to provide a professional corporate website with branding in keeping with today's eco friendly landscape industry. The result is a stylish and clean website which is easy to navigate.

When we were commissioned to produce the site we had an extremely tight deadline due to contractual pressures on Walker Organics. Despite this we delivered on budget and on time.
